Bayern Munich has qualified for the second time in club history for the semi-finals of the Women's Champions League on Thursday.

The team of Orange international Lineth Beerensteyn also won in the return of the Swedish FC Rosengard: 0-1.

Lea Schüller scored the only goal in the match in Malmö halfway through the first half.

Beerensteyn was in the center of the game at Bayern and received a yellow card in the final phase.

The team of trainer Jens Scheuer already won the first leg last week in Munich with 3-0, partly due to a goal from Beerensteyn.

Bayern will compete against Chelsea in the semi-finals.

Bayern also joined the last four of the Champions League in the 2018/2019 season.

Then the Germans were eliminated by FC Barcelona.

Lieke Martens' Spanish team already reached the semi-finals of the current Champions League season on Wednesday by eliminating Manchester City.

Chelsea reached the last four with a second victory over Dominique Janssen and Shanice van de Sanden at VfL Wolfsburg.

The return in the quarterfinals between Olympique Lyon and Paris Saint-Germain had to be postponed to April 18 due to multiple corona infections at defending champion Lyon.

The semi-finals are on April 24/25 and May 1/2.
