On March 30, local time, the emblems of the Winter Olympics and Paralympics of Milan, Italy and Cortina d’Ampezzo in 2026 were unveiled for the first time. This is the first time that Italy has selected the Olympic emblems through online voting.

The organizing committee announced the online vote of the Winter Olympics emblem on the 30th. This work, which won the online vote with 74% approval rate, displays the number 26 in modern fonts, which looks like a common logo on snow or ice skates. Below are the traditional Olympic rings.

In addition, the emblem has a multi-color version of the same pattern.

The 2026 Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics will be the fourth time that Italy will host the Olympics.

Previously, Cortina d’Ampezzo hosted the 1956 Winter Olympics, Turin hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics, and Rome hosted the 1960 Summer Olympics.
