Agüero joined Manchester City from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2011. And now, after ten years at the club, he is leaving after the season.
The reason?
City have chosen not to renew the Argentine's expiring contract.

Agüero - vital for City's development
The Spaniard considers himself lucky to have Agüero in the squad when he took over the club in 2016.
He says that, like Vincent Kompany and David Silva, for example, the Argentine has been vital to developing Manchester City.
- Many players have brought this club forward, and of course he (Agüero) is one of them, Guardiola says.
Agüero joined the Manchester club in 2011 and has scored a total of 257 goals in 284 games since then.
