The French football team won 1-0 in Bosnia-Herzegovina, in group D of the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, on March 31.

A positive result, after a 1-1 draw at home against Ukraine and a narrow 2-0 victory in Kazakhstan.

The French football team is a little reassured, two and a half months away from a European Nations Championship (Euro 2020) in the first round of which it will successively face Germany (June 15), Hungary (June 19) and Portugal (June 23).

The Blues ended eight very busy days with a 1-0 victory in Bosnia-Herzegovina on March 31 in European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup. A success that puts them at the top of the group D standings, despite a draw 1 -1 at home against Ukraine (March 24) and a short success in Kazakhstan (March 28).

However, this positive result was not easy to obtain.

In the first period, the French only show themselves to be really dangerous on an uncrossed header from Kingsley Coman (14th).

It is especially the Bosnians who give their opponents a cold sweat.

The 123rd selection of Hugo Lloris

Hugo Lloris must indeed achieve two superb parades: first on a curled shot from Darko Todorovic (24th), then on a header from Anel Ahmedhodzic that the tricolor goalkeeper narrowly deflects with his left hand (26th).

The goalkeeper thus celebrates with dignity, in passing, his 123rd selection match, second best total in history tied with Thierry Henry and behind Lilian Thuram (142).

The best gift to give to the captain of the France team is yet another victory.

Antoine Griezmann is responsible for offering it to him.

The striker, receiving a cross from Adrien Rabiot, opens the scoring with a good header: 0-1, 60th.

The world champions then manage the assaults of the locals.

They will resume these qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in five months, with meetings against Bosnia (September 1), Ukraine (September 4) and against Finland (September 7).
