The Tokyo Olympic torch relay, which started in Fukushima Prefecture on the 25th of this month, entered the Kanto region on the 28th.

We will visit 16 cities and towns in Tochigi prefecture in a two-day schedule until the 29th.



On the 28th of the first day, a departure ceremony was held in Ashikaga City, and the torch of Mr. Kunikazu Katsumata, the first runner in Tochigi Prefecture, was lit.



Tochigi Prefecture and others called for support by taking a distance with a public relations car so that the spectators would not be crowded along the road, but many people packed up on Sunday 28th.



When the audience was seen in multiple rows, the staff called out, "Avoid crowding."



After that, in Oyama City, a woman named "Iriko" who wrote "Olympic child" because the torch relay of the last Tokyo Olympics was born on the day of departure from Tochigi prefectural office connected the torch. It was.



Then, around 8 pm, the last route in Nasukarasuyama City, such as the route of Motegi Town where SL and runners run side by side along the railroad track, and the route of Tochigi City where the historic townscape is carried on a sightseeing boat. The runner finished the first day with a goal.



On the 29th of the second day, we are planning to visit the world heritage site Nikko Toshogu.
