The final day of the Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay is 27th in Fukushima Prefecture.

On the third day, 90 people will run a course that departs from Minamiaizu Town and returns to Nakadori while visiting seven cities and towns to connect the torch.

Approximately 10,000 runners will participate in the Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay, which began on the 25th, and will travel to 47 prefectures over 121 days.

On the 27th of the third day, we will depart from Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture at 9 am and visit seven cities and towns in the prefecture.

The holy fire will pass through Shimogo-cho, where Ouchi-juku, one of the prefecture's leading tourist destinations, where the townscape of the post town of the Edo period remains, and then proceed north from Shirakawa City on Nakadori. You are supposed to arrive at the goal point in Koriyama City.

The Organizing Committee is calling for people to avoid crowding, as some people question the holding of the Games because the infection with the new coronavirus has not subsided.

On Saturday, the first time the torch relay has begun, we will continue to pass through urban areas with a large population, so we can expect more people than ever before, so measures for “dense” roadsides will be a major issue.
