Jakob Johansson had set his sights on the Allsvenskan premiere after having knee surgery in December.

But the midfielder, who suffered two cruciate ligament injuries earlier in his career, has now suffered a setback.

IFK Gothenburg writes on its website that the 30-year-old needs to have further surgery on his knee.

"The goal is to have him back after the European Championship finals this summer," the club writes.
