From January 20 to February 6, 2022, this top Asian women's football tournament will be staged here.

  This is the first women's football Asian Cup after the expansion. The draw ceremony will be held online on May 27, 2021. The qualifiers will be held from September 13 to 25 in a tournament format.

  The top three Japan, Australia and China in the previous event will automatically qualify for the main event.

Except for the host India, the remaining teams will compete for the last eight places through the qualifiers.

  This tournament will also be the qualifier for the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, when the five strongest teams in Asia will join the host Australia team to represent Asia in the Women's World Cup.
