Is the fear of the supporters being realized?

Franck McCourt, the owner of Olympique de Marseille has appointed Jacques-Henri Eyraud vice-president of the club's supervisory board, reveals our colleagues from RMC.

As the majority shareholder, McCourt had the hand in deciding this appointment.

If until then the supervisory board has never weighed too much in the decisions of the club, this position of vice-president could allow Jacques-Henri Eyraud to represent OM in the bodies of French football.

But Pablo Longoria, appointed president to replace JHE, should keep the current affairs of the club, and in particular the sports field.

It remains to be seen the repercussions of this announcement on the supporters, as calm has returned since a series of meetings between the supporters' clubs and the new president of the club.
