  China News Service, March 25. According to the National Enterprise Credit Information System, Beijing Zhonghe Guoan Football Club officially changed its name to Beijing Guoan Football Club.

The name "Beijing Guoan" was eventually retained.

  At the end of last year, the Chinese Football Association introduced a neutralization policy for club names, stipulating that the name must not contain the name, trade name, or brand name of club shareholders, shareholder related parties or actual controllers.

  In order to retain the name of "Beijing Guoan", the club shareholder CITIC Group once filed an application for the transfer of property rights to transfer 36% of the shares of Beijing Zhonghe Guoan Football Club held at a reserve price of 1 yuan.

  After nearly 4 months of hard work and struggle, the team will continue to compete in the new season of the Super League under the name of "Beijing Guoan".

  At present, many Chinese Super League clubs have decided to change their names. Guangzhou Evergrande has been renamed Guangzhou, Guangzhou R&F has been renamed Guangzhou City, Tianjin TEDA has been renamed Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, Shanghai SIPG has been renamed Shanghai Haigang, Shandong Luneng Taishan has been renamed Shandong Taishan, Qingdao Huanghai changed its name to Qingdao Team.
