The 120-kilometer Mohammed bin Rashid Endurance Festival was launched yesterday in the Dubai International City of Endurance in Saih Al-Salam, with the participation of 100 riders from various stables and equestrian clubs in the country.

Argentine knight Delfina Maria Guterres won the Women's Racing Cup, amid strong competition from the rest of the participants.

Delphina won the title on horseback "Zaizum", owned by (M7 stables), after the Argentine knight came in ninth place in the first stage, and advanced to eighth in the second and third stages, before jumping to first place in the fourth stage.

Whereas, Maitha Muhammad Al Qubaisi, the knight, came second on board the "Al Araibi" horse, owned by (F3 stables).

And ranked third, the Spanish knight Eulalia Gonzalez, on horseback "July Soliot" owned by (M7 stables).

On the other hand, the second stage of 35 kilometers witnessed major changes in positions, after the knight Buthaina Khaled Al-Reda advanced from the second to the first at a time of 1:15:29 hours, and the Uruguayan Cecilia Garcia advanced from the third to the second at a time of 1:15:29 hours, and came In third place, Argentine knight Camila Rodrigues, ahead of 17th on the horseback «Vico de Sumail» owned by (Saih Al-Sallam Stables) with a time of 1:14:38 hours.

The Chilean knight Catalina Lawrence jumped from 28th to fourth place on horseback «Vigari» owned by (Jumeirah Stables) at a time of 1:13:13 hours, and came in fifth place, the knight Mary Adnan Rayyes, ahead of eighth on horseback «Waterlia Sikorsky» owned To (M7 Stables 2) 1:15:38 hours.

Today, the second day of the festival will witness the establishment of the race for private stables and individual participation for a distance of 120 kilometers, as the organizing committee completed the procedures for registering the riders and stables participating in the race, yesterday, in the Dubai International City of Endurance.

The committee announced the award of large financial prizes to the heroes distributed as follows: 200,000 dirhams for the first place winner, 180,000 for the second place, 160,000 for the third, 50,000 for the fourth, 35,000 for the fifth, and 30,000 for each winner from the sixth to the 70th.

On the other hand, the festival will continue tomorrow, with the establishment of the My Beautiful Mares Cup, with the final day being the day after tomorrow, through the main race, the Mohammed bin Rashid Endurance Cup.
