The national football team today inaugurated its training in the sub-stadium of Al Wasl club, as part of its internal gathering that will continue until the current twenty-ninth, as part of its preparations for the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup finals, and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup finals, which will be held in the gathering system in the country next June.

And 26 players participated in the first training session led by the Dutch coach Van Marwijk: Ali Khasif, Mohammed Al Shamsi, Khaled Issa, Fahd Al Dhanhani, Bandar Al Ahbabi, Shaheen Abdul Rahman, Walid Abbas, Mahmoud Khamis, Khalifa Al Hammadi, Hassan Al Mahrami, Al Hassan Saleh, Salem Rashid, Muhammad Al-Attas, Ali Salmeen, Yahya Nader, Abdullah Ramadan, Majid Hassan, Fabio de Lima, Khalfan Mubarak, Khalil Al-Hammadi, Tahnoon Al-Zaabi, Muhammad Jumaa Eid, Yahya Al-Ghassani, Ali Mabkhout, Sebastian Tegali and Zayed Al-Ameri.

The technical staff had decided to exclude the duo Caio Canedo and Abdullah Al Naqbi due to injury, and their need for treatment and rest.

Yusef Hussein Al-Sahlawi, Second Vice President of the Federation, Chairman of the National Teams and Technical Affairs Committee, and Muhammad Ubaid Hammad, the supervisor of the national team, as well as the administrative body witnessed the training.
