The technical staff of the first national football team, led by Dutch Van Marwijk, decided to reduce the team's list from 29 players to 28 in preparation for an internal preparation camp in Dubai from today until the 29th of this month, as part of its preparations for the remaining matches in the joint qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. The national team will play a friendly match against India on January 29th at Zabeel Stadium in Al Wasl Club in Dubai.

The team plays in Group G in the World Cup qualifiers, which includes Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
