Giant of the Lenzerheide finals

(2nd round)

Departure at 12 noon

This Saturday, March 20 could go down in the history of French alpine skiing.

After the cancellation of the downhill and the Super-G at Lenzerheide, Alexis Pinturault has never been so close to winning the first big globe of his career.

Second in the World Cup in 2019 and 2020, the native of Moûtiers could become the fourth French skier to win the title after Jean-Claude Killy (1967 and 1968), Michèle Jacot (1970) and Luc Alphand, the last, in 1997. He is 31 points ahead of his Swiss rival Marco Odermatt (victory is worth 100 points).

After a first round overflown on Saturday morning at 9 a.m., Pinturault will set off for the second round with good chances of success.
