Austrian Katharina Liensberger is on her way to securing the victory in the slalom cup.

After the first run in Lenzerheide, she has 90 hundredths, respectively 1.84 seconds down to the worst competitors for the title, Mikaela Shiffrin and Petra Vlhova.

If Petra Vlhova does not improve her sixth place, a second place for Liensberger will be enough to secure the victory in the slalom cup.

If Liensberger wins today's competition, Vlhova must be second worst to win the slalom cup.

Vlhova made a weak first run, after an early miss on the slopes.

- I'm disappointed.

I made a mistake at the beginning of the hill.

Right now it is as it is, but I will fight and we will see, says Petra Vlhova to SVT Sport.

However, Vlhova is well on its way to securing the victory in the overall World Cup.

Hector in seventh place

Surprisingly second in the competition is Norwegian Kristin Lysdahl, 70 hundredths behind Liensberger.

Lysdahl who has never been on the podium in slalom in the World Cup time trial.

- I only see opportunities.

I aim to do as in the first run, says Kristin Lysdahl to SVT Sport before the second run.

It is gratifying for the Swedish part that Sara Hector drove in seventh place in the first race.

Hector is 2.26 seconds Liensberger, and has 1.36 up to Mikaela Shiffrin in third place.

- The ride felt bad, and to finish and see that I am seventh was a lot of fun.

A big surprise.

It's just giving the iron in others, says Sara Hector to SVT Sport.

The second run is broadcast live on SVT1 and SVT Play from 13.30.
