A meeting will be held on the 20th between the Tokyo Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the government, Tokyo, and the international committees for the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

At the meeting, it is expected that it will be decided whether or not to accept the audience from overseas, which is becoming increasingly difficult to accept.

A meeting between the IOC = International Olympic Committee and IPC = International Paralympic Committee, the Organizing Committee and Tokyo, and the government was held on the 3rd of this month.

Among them, it was agreed that the acceptance of spectators from overseas would be concluded within this month, and the upper limit of the number of spectators would be decided by the end of next month.

Of these, regarding the acceptance of spectators from overseas, it was adjusted to hold a meeting with five parties again on the 22nd of this month, but according to the people involved in the tournament, it will finally be held on the 20th due to the convenience of the participants. It means that the schedule has been set.

Regarding the acceptance of spectators from overseas, there is a growing view that it is difficult to accept due to the unpredictable effects of the mutated virus and the infection situation in Japan and overseas, and a conclusion will be reached at the meeting on the 20th. It is a prospect.

Chairman Hashimoto of the Organizing Committee said at a regular press conference on the 19th, "I hope that the five-party talks will decide on accepting overseas spectators and discuss future directions as much as possible."
