The only swimmer to have managed the time requested at the end of the first qualifying phase, Florent Manaudou, Olympic champion in London in 2012, qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games over 50m on Friday.

Florent Manaudou validated his qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games over 50m by being the only French swimmer to have managed the time requested at the end of the first Olympic qualifying phase opened since December, Friday in Marseille.

Olympic champion over 50m in London in 2012 and silver medalist in Rio in 2016, Florent Manaudou (30) will be the headliner of French swimming in Tokyo (23 July-8 August).
