Swimmer Florent Manaudou won his qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games, delayed to the summer of 2021 after the Covid pandemic, on the 50 m.

The swimmer licensed at the Cercle des nageurs de Marseille is the only French swimmer to have managed the time requested at the end of the first Olympic qualifying phase open since December, Friday in Marseille.

Olympic champion over 50m in London in 2012 and silver medalist in Rio in 2016, Manaudou (30) will be the headliner of French swimming in Tokyo (23 July-8 August).
