At the World Championships in Oberstdorf, Alexander Bolshunov and Gleb Retivych took bronze in the sprint relay - something that attracted attention then was that it seemed as if Bolshunov neither congratulated nor comforted his teammate after the race.

While Norway and Finland celebrated their medals.

- Nothing special happened there, I then congratulated him.

When I finished, I went and did not even see how the race ended.

Afterwards we congratulated each other.

The Norwegians did not see that, says Alexander Bolshunov to Tass and also answers that many in Norway thought he was arrogant.

- It's bad that they think that way about me.

But I do not have to prove the opposite to anyone, says Bolshunov.

"Badly"

The 24-year-old won a gold, skiathlon, in the World Cup and took two silver and one bronze.

He received the silver medal in the five-mile race after Johannes Hösflot Kläbo was washed for obstruction against Bolshunov in the riot.

The Russian was clearly saddened at the medal ceremony, but says that he had shaken off the gold medal three or four hours later.

- I won a gold.

That was cool.

But I did not take a second.

It was very bad.
