This is the rule for the finals of the Alpine Skiing World Cup.

When a race cannot be contested on the day it is scheduled, it is outright canceled.

After the descent, it is therefore the Super-G of Lenzerheide that goes by the wayside due to unfavorable weather conditions.

The French Alexis Pinturault and the Slovakian Petra Vlhova, both at the top of the general standings, are getting closer to the final title with only two races left (a giant and a slalom) on Saturday and Sunday.

Two disciplines which clearly favor Pintu even if the current form of the Frenchman hardly encourages swagger.
