"I'm most sorry to the students. I just reported it and looked at it from behind, but I felt guilty."

SBS reporters met former Lotte pitcher Ahn Tae-kyung in Busan on the 16th.

He revealed himself to be the informant of the'Lee Yeo-sang banned substance scandal' known to the world two years ago, and he revealed his face and responded to the interview.

When asked why he had the courage, he said, "Recently, the drug scandal reignited, and I decided to interview him." "Senior Lee Yeo-sang said he was ignorant of drugs, but it's not true. Two years have passed, but it's still the most affected students at that time. "I'm sorry. I was just reporting it and watching from behind, and I felt guilty. I couldn't just hold my breath and watch."

Ahn Tae-kyung, who graduated from Busan High School, joined Texas in 2009, but returned to Korea in 2013 without seeing the light.

After serving in the military, he was nominated by his hometown team, Lotte, and knocked on the door of the KBO League in 2015.

Ahn Tae-kyung, who was contemplating his career, first joined a baseball class run by Lee Yeo-sang, a retired Lotte senior, in August 2018.

Ahn Tae-kyung, who was working hard, was

suspicious of her eyes two months later.

I witnessed Yeo-sang Lee getting a shot at a baseball enthusiast.

He said, "A member of the ho-in was slightly fleshy. I got an injection before exercising, so I said,'Are you getting insulin injections because of diabetes?'

I thought."

Surprisingly, however, Yeo-sang Lee first explained the ingredients of the injection.

“Senior Yeo-sang Lee came first and talked about it.'This is a drug called ephedrine, but if you get hit with this and exercise, your heart beats quickly and blood circulation increases. You lose weight as your body heats up.' I thought, "It shouldn't be done."

Lee Yeo-sang has since become more daring.

First, I advised Ahn Tae-kyung of a banned drug.

"There was a time when there were no customers during a lesson. They suggested to me,'Let's take care of yourself and show us. Let's exercise.' They gave me a bottle of supplement and an oral pill. These days, there are a lot of overseas fast buying sites, so it's not a normal method, but I eat a lot. So I said,'I'll eat it,' but when I heard the explanation, I didn't say it was an illegal drug, but I told it to feel it. After eating a few tablets, I pretended to eat. When I received the goods, Senior Lee Yeo-sang forced money. E. I did not eat afterwards and collected the medicines. Because I was convinced. I submitted those collections for reporting later.

And something happened that shouldn't happen.

Yeo-sang Lee began to recommend banned drugs to student players who came to take lessons.

Ahn Tae-kyung said, "I saw new students recommending one by one. I don't remember the exact ingredients, but most of the students who took ephedrine were right. Among them, growth hormone was also administered. There was also something to do,” he said.

In a recent interview with a media outlet, Yeo-sang Lee argued that'the bodybuilder I knew at the time approached that there was a drug that did not cause doping and delivered the drug to student athletes in a situation where the drug was ignorant.'

However, Ahn Tae-kyung's thoughts were different.

“Senior Yeo-sang Lee drew curtains in the office, which is about 1 pyeong, and talked a lot to parents. The part that I emphasized to parents was'This product was approved by our trainer and is recommended or certified by a university professor, so you can trust it.' I received the goods mainly by courier. Sometimes I remember calling someone and asking about how to take it. I don't think I received a variety of drugs from one person. You can see from the cover, but there are supplies in the Southeast Asian market. I hope you haven't received it."

Ahn Tae-kyung wanted to report it right away, but couldn't act.

Since there was no evidence, it could be disadvantageous, so we decided to secure more evidence and report it.

Starting in the winter of 2018, I was studying for myself which drugs were at issue while obtaining evidence and searching for drugs.

Ahn Tae-kyung, who was waiting for the time, informed Yeo-sang Lee of her resignation, then reported the information to the Food and Drug Administration and cooperated with the investigation.

And in July 2019, the'Lee Yeo-sang Banned Drug Scandal', which made the sports world buzz, became known.

Ahn Tae-kyung is still in touch with the students who suffered damage at the time.

"I'm so sorry every time students call me. Some players went to college and some went to the army. But they can't play baseball and they're literally floating. I feel very guilty when I see them." And lowered his head.

In doing so, I emphasized my awareness of drugs again.

"Actually, if you're a sportsman, it's your dream to have a good body. You might think that drugs are a shortcut, but I think there's a lot more to lose than that. Even at this moment, there may be someone who recommends drugs nearby. With such a person. I hope that I can keep myself from distance and make myself honest."

Ahn Tae-kyung, who was a promising player on the stage of the US minor league stage, but put down the ball early without a talent, says, "I have no regrets for baseball."

“I have no regrets. I had a good physical, but I couldn't live. I came out because I wanted to do something else when I had a good body left. I'm learning livestock. I'm learning to study and use meat cuts, but if I have a chance someday, I'm learning how to use it in a restaurant. "I'm planning to prepare a game. Why? I want to feed our Lotte players with delicious meat to their heart's content."
