On the other hand, in the men's 60-meter hurdles, in addition to Shunya Takayama, who holds the 110-meter hurdles in Japan, Taio Kanai, who is second in Japan's history, and Shunsuke Izumiya, who is third in Japan's history, are top players aiming for the Tokyo Olympics. Are all in line.



In the qualifying, both Kanai and Izumitani set a new record in Japan at 7:56, breaking the previous record at 0:05.

In the following final, Izumitani showed a long run after the middle stage and won the new Japanese record of 7 seconds 50, which further shortened the qualifying record by 0.06 seconds.



Kanai was disqualified in 3rd place at 7:60 and Takayama was disqualified for flying.
