Al-Jazeera international striker Ali Mabkhout widened the difference between him and Al Wasl striker Fabio Lima, the top scorer in the Arabian Gulf League.

Baniyas striker, Joao Pedro, broke the partnership with Sharjah midfielder, Kornado, after he scored a fatal goal in the eye, to raise his tally to 16 goals.

Kornado temporarily retreated after he was unable to score at Shabab Al-Ahly, to keep his scoring tally at 15 goals in fourth place.

On the other hand, his teammate in Sharjah, the Brazilian, Williton Suarez, continued his decline, and remained in fifth place with 12 goals.
