On Sunday, Ebba Andersson and Jens Burman had to step up on the podium in connection with the World Cup final.

Andersson became the first Swedish women skier in 33 years to finish in the top three in the World Cup.

And Burman in turn took his first World Cup victory in his career when he finished third in the men's five-mile race.

Now the national team stars will run Ski Classics and then wait a month with competitions at home.

- We have a very nice competitions left in Sweden, says Burman.

At the end of April, the cross-country skiers enter a calmer period, and then start the hard training in May.

And thus the preparations for the Olympics in Beijing.

- First and foremost, it is about evaluating what has been and then looking ahead.

Thinking about what I personally want to achieve in terms of training, I would like to screw up details or make some changes, says Ebba Andersson and continues:

- It's nice that we have a little bit ahead to get such puzzle pieces to fall into place.

It will really be important to get a good training job to be in as good shape as possible when it is time for the Olympics.
