Yesterday, the unit officially announced the contract with the Dutch Tin Cat, to train the first football team until June 2022. In its statement, the club wished the new coach good luck and success, and that he would meet the goals and aspirations of the leadership, management and fans of the club in the coming period.

This is the second term for the Dutch coach with Al Wahda, as he previously had a short experience with (Annabi) in the 2018/2019 season.

This is also the 21st experience in the coach's career, the 66-year-old since the 1990 season.

Ten Cat formally signed the contract after his arrival in Abu Dhabi, and the presentation ceremony was attended by the coach, Khaled Al Hinai, Executive Director of the club, and Amer Al-Saiari, a member of the board of directors.

The Gulf region is not new to Tin Cat's career, as he has previously trained many clubs, including three experiences in the UAE, as he trained Shabab Al-Ahly (formerly Al-Ahly) in 2010, and Al-Jazira and Al-Wahda teams respectively for the 2018 and 2019 seasons.

Tin Cat trained after a 15-year journey as a soccer player.

He replaces the former coach, Serbian Razovic, who left immediately after losing Al Ain by four.
