The Football Association is considering the resignation of Ali Hamad from the Referees Committee

A source revealed to "Emirates Today" that the member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Football Association, Chairman of the Referees Committee, Ali Hamad, apologized for continuing to chair the Referees Committee without disclosing the reasons that led to his taking this decision, indicating that the resignation will be presented to the Board of Directors of the Federation The ball during his upcoming meeting chaired by Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi for an official decision.

Ali Hamad took over the presidency of the Referees Committee last March, following the new formation of the FIFA Board of Directors.

The recent period witnessed severe criticism of the arbitration, the latest of which was the statement issued by Fujairah Club, during which it submitted an official complaint against the refereeing team's last match against Al Wasl, which ended in a draw after Fujairah was ahead with a clean goal in the 20th round of the Arab Gulf League.

Ali Hamad's departure from the presidency of the committee is a great loss for arbitration, especially since he sought during the last period to provide all his experiences as a former international arbitrator in order to develop the arbitration body and make a qualitative leap in it from all sides, as well as to qualify new arbitration personnel.
