For Japanese athletes who participated in international competitions overseas, the relaxation of the restriction that they will be allowed to participate in the competition and practice if certain conditions are met within 14 days after returning to Japan will be suspended after January after the declaration of emergency. At the same time, the competition groups were calling for a response while the international competition was being resumed for the Tokyo competition.



In response to this, the Japan Sports Agency decided to take strict infection control measures and allow only practice even during the 14-day waiting period.



During the period, you will be subjected to PCR tests 3 to 4 times, contact with the general public is prohibited, you will not be allowed to go out other than the accommodation and practice area, use public transportation, or participate in the competition.



After that, the practice will be conducted by individuals for 3 days from the day after entering Japan, and if a negative result is confirmed on the 3rd day, joint practice with athletes who returned to Japan on the same day will be permitted from the 4th day.



The Japan Sports Agency has already notified the JOC and the JPC = Japan Paralympic Committee, and will promote the dissemination to each sports organization.
