Yesterday, Al-Wehda club officially announced the termination of its association with Serbian coach Vuk Razovic, after the big loss suffered by the first football team at its home the day before yesterday, in the 20th round of the Arab Gulf League, with a quarter-clean defeat in front of Al Ain.

On the other hand, a source confirmed to "Emirates Today" that the Dutch coach Tin Cat, who previously trained the unit and has a long experience in the Emirates, will be the new coach, provided that he arrives in the country within the next two days to complete the contract.

"The management of Al Wahda Football Club decided to dismiss the coach of the first football team, Vuk Razovic, as of yesterday, as the club management thanks the coach for what he did in the last stage, and wishes him success in his next sports career," Al-Wehda said in a statement on Twitter. .

The statement did not specify the name of the new coach, but the source said that he is the Dutchman, Tin Cat, who "will lead the team until the end of next season in the summer of 2022."

Tin Cat may be present at the Al Jazeera match in Round 22, in order to correct the course of Al Annabi, who lost many points this season.

And a state of anger dominated the fans of Al-Wahda in "social communication" after the modest level that the team appeared on, and almost lost with a score greater than the quartet.

Razovic received the largest share of criticism because of the squad in which he played the match, and his handling of the match in terms of changes or technical interference.

Razovic had said in the press conference before the decision to dismiss him was issued that "conceding two goals in the first 15 minutes made the issue of returning very difficult, and he demanded patience for the young players, especially at the level of the defense line, and not being cruel to them."

On the other hand, Ismail Matar confirmed in a press statement that "the changes are the year of life, times when it is at the top and other times it is at the bottom, and I cannot say more than that."

He added, "The only thing I know is that the Unity crowd is very upset about our loss, and it is their right, but we will promise to provide the best in the coming period."

On the other hand, Al Ain player, Fahd Hadid, apologized to Al Wahda and its fans after the provocative move he made during the match.

He said in a press statement: "I did not mean to issue any provocative attitude from me to the feelings of those in the stadium or the fans of Annabi. I have all the respect and appreciation for everyone. I did this movement to enjoy football only, and I did not mean any other behavior."

Pedro: I worked 8 months with an incomplete team

Al Ain coach, Portuguese Pedro, said that several circumstances contributed to the failure of Al Ain to appear in the usual way this season.

"I worked for eight months with an incomplete team, due to injuries and absences," he said at the press conference.

He continued: "Those who do not understand in football will look at us as champions, but whoever has a further view will see that we played without 16 players who were reportedly absent from the 23 official matches the team played this season, and there are four matches we played with 11 key players."

He added, "These are the things that we must talk about the reasons that prevented us from achieving results, not to talk through social media that Al Ain is reviewing this season."
