Every day, Anicet Mbida makes us discover an innovation that could well change the way we consume.

This Friday, he is interested in a new solution for easier and cheaper access to renewable energies, a folding personal wind turbine.

The innovation of the day is renewable energies which are becoming more and more accessible.

For example, a personal, folding wind turbine that fits in a car trunk.

When we think of a wind turbine, we imagine rather a monster several tens of meters high, with giant blades weighing several tons.

Now, there are extremely compact models that fold into a sports bag and weigh only ten kilos.

It takes about a quarter of an hour to put everything together.

We then end up with a turbine four meters in diameter, perched six meters high.

So we are talking about a real wind turbine, capable of generating up to 600W.

And to which you can directly connect your 220-volt devices.

This can be very practical when camping or even in your garden to save electricity.

Or as a back-up generator in the event of an outage.

It will be less noisy and above all more environmentally friendly than a generator.

But if there is no wind, will we have no electricity?

That is true.

This is why the system also works with a battery to store energy, and always have it when you need it.

This personal wind turbine is offered by the Danish startup KiteX.

It costs around 1,000 €, which is still reasonable.

Finally, it is typical of the current trend in which we seek to make renewable energies more accessible.

It started with small solar panels or mini wind turbines that could only charge a cell phone.

Today, we are switching to models that are much more powerful, much more ambitious, that can be installed very simply, without calling on a specialist.

We remain in the tradition of parasols and solar awnings that I told you about a few days ago.
