Boston and Rangers have met five times so far - and Boston has real plus statistics on Rangers so far, with 4-1 in games.

Last Thursday, the teams met in Boston, and then the Bruins zeroed the New York team 4-0 after the Czech star David Pastrnak scored one of the goals.

Pastrnak, who played in Södertälje SK as a junior, is one of Boston's leading players and third in the internal points league with 22 points in 17 matches (12 + 10).

In Rangers, Swedish star Mika Zibanejad has had a sluggish start to the season in terms of points, with for him a moderate nine points (3 + 6) in 25 games.

However, Zibanejad burst a several-week goal drought last week, when he scored his third goal of the season when the Rangers fell away to Pittsburgh.

Tonight's match is also important battle for a place in the Stanley Cup playoffs.

Although there are many games, Rangers are already nine points behind Boston in that match.

Commenting on the match is Chris Härenstam.
