At 38, the old man in the gate wants to go to the Olympics again.

Johannes Bitter is aiming for his second summer games with the German national handball team.

At the qualifying tournament in Berlin, he and his colleagues have to get hold of one of the two tickets to be awarded.

On Friday it's the start against the World Cup runner-up Sweden.

Mr. Bitter, your goalkeeper colleague Andreas Wolff has criticized the World Cup waiver of the Kiel players around Pekeler and Wiencek.

Now they have to work together again for the Olympic qualification and buy the ticket for Tokyo.

How is that supposed to work?

Johannes Bitter:

I think that there is nothing left to do.
