March in Argentina seeking justice for Diego Maradona .. "He did not die ... they killed him!"

Argentines will take to the streets on Wednesday to demand what they describe as justice for the late soccer player Diego Maradona, whose death in November sparked investigations into how the death occurred and if there was negligence in his medical care.

"He did not die ... they killed him," the organizers said in social media posts promoting the march

And "Justice for Diego. Trial and Punishment for the Perpetrators."

The march will start at 6 pm local time (0900 GMT) from the famous obelisk in central Buenos Aires.

Maradona, who won the World Cup with Argentina, is considered one of the most prominent footballers in its history and enjoys a high position in his country despite his long problems with drugs, alcohol addiction and poor health.

On Monday, a medical committee formed at the request of the Ministry of Justice met to analyze Maradona's death.

The former World Cup winner in 1986 was suffering from serious health problems and was recovering from brain surgery when he died on the outskirts of Buenos Aires.

Investigators are looking into whether members of Maradona's medical team did not deal properly with the late star, who played for different clubs around the world, including Napoli, Barcelona and Boca Juniors.
