Officially, a Saudi group acquires a French club

Châteauroux, the bottom club of the second division football league in France, confirmed today the transfer of its ownership to the "United World" group owned by Saudi Prince Abdullah bin Musaed.

"United World is proud to announce the acquisition of the club. The decision by United World to invest in France is logical given its development and quality of play in France over the past ten years," the Swiss-based group said in a statement released by the club.

Ten years ago, Bin Musaed made a decision to leave the paper industry and pursue a career he loves, so he created the "United World" group, which began with the acquisition of football clubs in different continents, and the French Châteauroux is only part of its diverse group.

Bin Musaed Group (56 years old), former Minister of Sports in Saudi Arabia between 2014 and 2017, includes Sheffield United, the English Premier League, Birchkot of Belgium, Kerala United of India and Al Hilal United of the United Arab Emirates.
