There will therefore be no double for Perrine Laffont at the world mogul skiing championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

On Monday, the 22-year-old Ariège won individual gold and thus completed a colossal record.

This Tuesday, the Olympic champion fell in the quarter-finals of the parallel event, against Viktoriia Lazarenko (17).

The young Russian was then beaten in the final by her compatriot Anastasiia Smirnova (18), already in bronze the day before.

The Monts-d'Olmes skier abandons the title she won in the two previous editions, in 2017 and 2019.

The French out of the way

On the French side, the Habs also disappointed this Tuesday.

Ben Cavet, in silver in the individual event, did not qualify for the finals, while Sacha Théocharis was eliminated in the quarter.

The untouchable Canadian Mikaël Kingsbury won his second event in two days.
