Kalla canceled the last World Cup race due to stomach pain.

Now the end of this year's World Cup is waiting and even though the skier has not got rid of the pain completely, she has chosen to go with.

- Yes, I got up in the morning and took a run.

But after that, I put my bag in the car to Switzerland and not the one who goes home to Sweden, says Charlotte Kalla about the late decision:

- So I'm glad that the leaders had patience with me and that I had to make such a late decision.

Positive for the weekend

Are you worried that your stomach problems will remain until the weekend?

- It has gone in the right direction all the time.

I have to think a little and be extra kind to the body and stomach.

- We have a lot of days left before it's time to draw on the number tag.

So I am optimistic that I will feel less and less before Saturday.

According to the 33-year-old, there were problems already before the World Cup.

- I have probably joked too much that my stomach can handle anything, but there is probably a limit for me and what I can do over time.

The recharging before the World Cup was a battle against the clock.

- I was very surprised, because I had never experienced stomach problems before, that it reacted so strongly.

Will evaluate whether a continuation after the season

In the interrupted WC race, SVT's commentators Jacob Hård and Anders Blomquist wondered if this was the last appearance Kalla made in the WC context.

- I do not want to be in the thoughts there.

Now I just want to have a good performance this weekend.

Have you thought about it at all or do you just want to put your thoughts forward?

- I do not know what will be the last competition this season.

But when the season is over and I have had some time to digest, I will really evaluate and feel where the motivation is.
