A friendly match between the UAE and Israeli teams of Rugby 19 underway in Dubai
The Emirates Rugby Federation announced today the establishment of a friendly match between the first national team and its Israeli counterpart at the stadiums of Dubai Sports City on January 19, in order to highlight the role of sport in supporting international relations and consolidating the values of peace and tolerance.
The Federation invited the media to attend the event and cover it while adhering to all precautionary measures that ensure the safety of everyone, knowing that this match will be the first of its kind that brings the UAE and Israel teams face to face on the UAE stadiums.
The Secretary General of the Emirates Rugby Federation, Qais Al-Dhalei, indicated in a press statement that a virtual press conference will be held remotely during the coming days, to announce the details of the cooperation program between the two parties, as well as the date of the arrival of the Israeli team, the schedule for the first friendly match, and the prospects for the strategic vision for developing Cooperation between the two federations.
