Soccer J1's Gamba Osaka announced that the PCR test for the new coronavirus has confirmed positive results for each player and one staff member in addition to the previous six players.

Regarding the holding of the game to be held at home on the 10th, it will be decided in consultation with the league and others.

In Gamba, a total of six players and staff were infected with the new coronavirus last week, and the two league games scheduled for the 3rd and 6th of this month were canceled, and the team's activities were suspended.

After that, the local health center determined that there were no 6 close contacts, so the practice resumed on the 7th, but on the 8th, a PCR test was conducted on the players and staff of the top team, and as a result, it was new. It means that one player and one staff member were confirmed to be positive.

The two had no symptoms such as fever and were also participating in the practice on the morning of the 8th.

For this reason, Gamba has stopped the team's activities again and is working with the health center to identify close contacts.

Also, on the 10th, it was a policy to hold a match with Oita Trinita scheduled in Suita City, Osaka, but it will be decided after consultation with the league and the public health center.
