They are back !

Romain Ntamack and Virimi Vakatawa return to the France group to prepare for the VI Nations Tournament match against England on Saturday March 13 according to the 31-day list communicated on Sunday by the FFR.

The one of the 23 players who will play the Crunch will be known on Thursday.

Toulouse-based Ntamack and Racingman Vakatawa, two indisputable holders since taking orders from Galthié at the end of 2019, were withdrawn for the start of the Tournament.

The first had suffered a double jaw fracture at the end of December and the second had injured a knee at the end of January.

They both resumed competition on Saturday with their club in the Top 14.

Captain Ollivon is here

Of the eight holders positive for Covid-19 before the postponement of the match against Scotland, two are absent: the Montpellier center Arthur Vincent and the Toulon winger Gabin Villière who injured his hand on Saturday with his club in the Top 14 and is forfeited for the remainder of the Tournament.

The entire first row, made up of left pillar Cyril Baille, hooker Julien Marchand and right pillar Mohamed Haouas, figure in the group as well as captain and third row Charles Ollivon, scrum half Antoine Dupont and back Brice Dulin.

These eight players, all holders during the first two matches of the Tournament in Italy (50-10) then in Ireland (15-13), had tested positive for the coronavirus between February 16 and 25.

The French Rugby Federation (FFR) had reported a total of sixteen cases during this period, twelve players and four members of the management including coach Fabien Galthié.

Camille Chat also back

Among the other contaminated players, the second row replacing Romain Taofifenua also finds the group of thirty-one.

The hooker Peato Mauvaka, the second line Baptiste Pesenti and the right pillar Uini Atonio will not, however, be at the national rugby center in Marcoussis (Essonne) where the Blues were to meet on Sunday.

Finally, in the radius of injury returns is also the hooker Camille Chat who injured his calf in training with the Blues at the end of January and could not, him either, take part in matches in Italy and Ireland.
