In the absence of the two other continental leaders, Pascal Martinot-Lagarde and Orlando Ortega, both injured, Belocian, arrived in Poland with the best European time of the year (7''45) and the second at the world level, n has not missed the boat and confirms a potential already glimpsed among young people.

He was crowned junior world champion in the 110m hurdles in 2014, breaking the world record in this age category.

Kevin Mayer is a regular.

The world record holder in the decathlon (29 years old), already crowned in Belgrade in 2017, totaled 6,392 points and beat the Spaniard Jorge Urena (6,158 points) and the Pole Pawel Wiesiolek (6,133 points).

The Frenchman remains a good distance from his European record (6479 points), established four years ago in Belgrade, but he is getting back on the right track after his two failures in his last two Championships (Euro 2018, Worlds 2019 ).
