Bayer Leverkusen has booked another victory in the Bundesliga on Saturday after a month without a win.

The team of trainer Peter Bosz was 0-1 too strong for Borussia Mönchengladbach, while Wout Weghorst was accurate for VfL Wolfsburg.

Leverkusen, which was still the leader in December, could not beat Mainz 05 (2-2), Augsburg (1-1) and Freiburg (1-2) in recent weeks and went down twice in the sixteenth finals of the Europa League against Young Boys.

On Saturday a visit to mid-engine Mönchengladbach, Patrik Schick Leverkusen finally delivered three points again.

The Czech makes the only goal of the match in the Borussia Park in the 77th minute.

The Dutchman Jeremie Frimpong played ninety minutes with the visitors and Daley Sinkgraven and Timothy Fosu-Mensah were missing from the match selection of Leverkusen, which is now fifth due to injuries.

Wolfsburg loses for the first time since January 3

Weghorst scored for number three Wolfsburg against 1899 Hoffenheim, but could not prevent the 2009 champion from suffering a defeat for the first time since January 3 (2-1).

The 28-year-old Weghorst, who was dry for three games, signed for the equalizer halfway through the first half with his fifteenth goal of the season.

He is the first ever player from Wolfsburg to score at least fifteen times three seasons in a row.

Wolfsburg started the year with a defeat at Borussia Dortmund (2-0), but has remained unbeaten ever since.

In the previous seven league matches, keeper Koen Casteels did not even have to take a single hit.

The Belgian was passed against Hoffenheim.

Christoph Baumgartner opened the score in the eighth minute.

Weghorst equalized the score after he had been sent deep from the center line and could only go towards the keeper.

Shortly before half time, Hoffenheim took the lead again via Andrej Kramaric and it remained 2-1.

Melayro Bogarde came in for the middle engine just before time, while Joshua Brenet stayed on the bench for ninety minutes.

RB Leipzig is currently in the lead

At the top of the Bundesliga, RB Leipzig leads at least for a few hours.

The team of coach Julian Nagelsmann won 3-0 at SC Freiburg and now has one point more than Bayern Munich, which receives Borussia Dortmund at 6.30 p.m.

Christopher Nkunku, Alexander Sørloth and Emil Forsberg scored the goals for Leipzig.

Justin Kluivert stayed on the bench at Leipzig.

Guus Til participated in Freiburg for the last twenty minutes.

Eintracht Frankfurt drew 1-1 at home against VfB Stuttgart.

Sasa Kalajdzic scored for Stuttgart and former FC Groningen player Filip Kostic was responsible for the equalizing goal.

Zeefuik wins with Hertha

Deyovaisio Zeefuik won with Hertha BSC 2-1 against FC Augsburg, where Jeffrey Gouweleeuw played ninety minutes.

Lászlo Bénes made the 0-1 in Berlin after just two minutes.

Hertha striker Krzysztof Piatek drew 1-1 in the 62 minute and in the final minute the Belgian Dodi Lukebakio made the winning goal for the home team from the penalty spot.

Single Orange international Javairô Dilrosun was still missing due to an injury at Hertha, which is fourteenth in the Bundesliga.

Stuttgart is a mid-engine.
