Guif needed the help of Sävehof to reach the playoffs.
Victory or one point would be enough at home against IFK Ystad but then league leader Sävehof had to beat Hallby.
And so it became.
Sävehof - who won the basic series before Malmö - dismissed Hallby with 33-24 at the same time as Guif beat Ystad with 31-25.
Thus, Guif is ready for the quarterfinals.
The club has not reached the playoffs since 2018.
