Table runner-up Luleå gets distance down to league three Umeå.

This after the victory with 84-62 in tonight's Norrlandsderby.

Visiting Luleå opened strongly and took home the first quarter with 22-11, and then went into the halftime break with a 39-29 lead.

Much thanks to guard Maggie Lucas who scored a total of 27 points in the match.

After the break, the home team managed to shrink the distance, at least one point difference.

But Luleå got a lot of dividends on their three points, for Lucas it was five and three for Matilda Ekh.

Luleå now has three straight victories in the ladies' SBL.

And is two points behind league leader Alvik, who has one match fewer played.
