The professional baseball giant has signed a contract with pitcher Kyosuke Takagi, who had been a training player off last season due to injury, as a registered player under control who can participate in the 1st Army game again.

Pitcher Takagi pitched in 17 games until August last season as a left-handed pitcher with a ERA of 3.65, but since September he has not pitched due to an injury to his left hip joint, and the giant needs long-term rehabilitation. That being said, I switched to a contract as a training player last season off.

After that, he recovered steadily and threw no goals twice in the open game on the 4th, and the team signed a contract with a registered player under control who can participate in the game of the 1st army again.

The uniform number has changed from "057" to "57", which was used until last season.

Pitcher Takagi commented, "I am happy to be on the mound of the 1st Army again. I will do my best in the 1st Army from now on."

Pitcher Takagi is 31 years old.

He joined the team in 4th place in the draft in 2012, and has pitched in 214 games in total, with 2 wins, 2 losses and 35 holds, and an ERA of 3.48.

This is the second time that a trained player has become a controlled player.
