Aston Martin’s boss Lawrence Stoll addressed the audience next to the new car and said that bringing the Aston Martin name back to F1 is a “dream come true”.
In the new season, former F1 world champion Sebastian Vettel and Canada's Lance Stroll will join forces for the Aston Martin team.
Vettel said in a statement: "Although I have played for four Formula One teams for many years, I am still excited to start a new season in a new team. I have been watching the race. What the team does without the maximum budget has always impressed me."
Vettel said that when Slaughter and Aston Martin Formula One CEO Otmar Schaffner approached him, he immediately accepted the team's offer.
