Both Jens Burman and William Poromaa did clearly approved races over 15 kilometers where both entered the top ten with Jens Burman as the best Swede in eighth place, just under six seconds ahead of ninth Pormomaa.

William Poromaa went strong and stayed in the top ten throughout the race after an effort.

- I think it was the toughest race I have ever ridden.

It is a very demanding track, it was hard, says William Poromaa to SVT Sport.

But he was still happy with the performance.

- I am satisfied.

I still show that I am at a stable level, can travel many distances and stand well against the world elite.

I take that with me, says William Poromaa.

"A step in the right direction"

Jens Burman was behind Poromaa in the results league at first, but made a strong finish and took his best championship place with his eighth place.

- It is a step in the right direction.

Especially on 15 kilometers of skating which has not been my strongest side this year, says Jens Burman to SVT Sport who is looking forward to the five miles.

The two other Swedes Karl-Johan Westberg and Björn Sandström were also followed in the results list, finishing 37th and 38th in the race.
