On the occasion of the first anniversary of the countdown, Liu Yumin, director of the Planning and Construction Department of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, recently stated that the Beijing Winter Paralympic Village is scheduled to be delivered in August this year and is currently undergoing interior decoration.

　　Liu Yumin said that at present, the preparations for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics have entered a critical period of victory.

From the beginning of preparations, the Paralympic Winter Games and the Winter Olympics have adhered to the preparatory principle of "simultaneous planning and simultaneous implementation" to ensure that "the two Olympics are equally exciting."

Through the joint efforts of the governments of Beijing, Hebei Province, design units, owners, construction units and related departments, 12 competition venues have been completed by the end of 2020, and 5 of the Paralympic venues have met the test requirements.

At the same time, the non-competition venues are also progressing smoothly and will be completed and delivered this year.

　　The Beijing 2022 Winter Paralympics will use 30 venues, including 5 competition venues (National Aquatics Center, National Stadium, National Alpine Ski Center, National Biathlon Center, Yunding Ski Park) and 25 non-competition venues. In the three competition areas of Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.

The Beijing Paralympic Winter Games made full use of the Beijing 2008 Olympic heritage. Eight venues are located in the Beijing Olympic Park, the most important heritage of the Beijing Olympics.

The Yanqing Winter Paralympic Games will use 4 venues, and the Beijing-Lijiang Expressway can directly reach the entrance of the competition area.

The Zhangjiakou Winter Paralympic Games will use 7 venues. Both Beijing-Zhangjiakou High-speed Railway and Jingli Expressway can reach the core location of the competition area.
