NBA.Utah Jazz, from the Covid crisis to becoming the best team in the NBA
Atlanta
will host the
NBA All-Star
this Sunday
.
It will be a different edition, held on a single day, from Sunday to Monday, and in the midst of the usual restrictions due to the Covid pandemic that devastates the
United States
.
Historically, the weekend of the stars was
divided into three days
.
On Friday, the
rookies' meeting
, on Saturday, the
competitions (skills, triples and dunks
) and on Sunday the
duel between the great stars of the competition.
This year, after discussions between the league and the Players Association, the NBA decided that the rookie game would be canceled and the rest of the events would be held in
one night
.
Thus, the early morning from Sunday to Monday will be the time when fans of the best basketball in the world will have to meet on their television.
The regular league schedule will also suffer a 'break' between March 5 and 10.

All-Star Match Format
The format of the All-Star Game will be the same as last year, once
again paying tribute to Kobe Bryant
.
The match will be divided into four quarters, and at the beginning of the first three the counter will be reset and the teams will fight to win each of the 12-minute periods.
At last, the winner of the match will be to reach the
target of Annotation Final
(Final Target Score), which will be the result of adding 24 (the dorsal Kobe) to the total number of points that will
lead to the end of the third quarter team ahead.

the fourth quarter will not have time and will end when one of the two teams reaches that figure.
