3 years imprisonment for an employee who seized the Al-Ahly player’s phone line

Egyptian media revealed that an employee has been convicted on charges of forgery and seizing the phone line of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Football Club player, Walid Soliman, and the Cairo Criminal Court, on Tuesday, sentenced him to three years in prison.

"The Seventh Day" website reported that "the events of the incident occurred when Walid Suleiman accused an unknown person of seizing his phone number and using the line in phone calls, which caused him material damage."

She explained: "The Public Prosecution listened to the statements of Al-Ahly player Walid Suleiman, when he said in the investigations that he has contracted with a mobile company since 2011 to open an account in the company, adding that the account includes private numbers for him and his family, and he pays the value of all bills, and the account has his phone number. However, it was closed, indicating that he had informed the company that he had closed the account of that number, but that three months ago he was surprised by the unusual increase in the value of the invoice.

Walid Suleiman is considered one of Al-Ahly's most prominent stars and is widely popular among Al-Ahly fans.
