Sunday.

3pm.

Scottish League Cup final.

Livingston Football Club, coached by David Martindale, takes on St. Johnstone at Hampden Park National Stadium.

For the small club from a satellite town between Glasgow and Edinburgh it is the chance of the second title in club history after a league cup in 2004. Four years ago it was still third class.

The key to this success?

"Me!" Martindale laughs.

Scottish humor.

But not so wrong either.

This finale is at the same time the climax of a story of guilt, atonement and the pillory afterwards. Of self-purification and redemption. About the power of education and the helping hand. A fairy tale about the second chance.
