Linn Svahn had one of her best medal chances in the sprint on Thursday but went out in the semifinals.

Instead, it was Jonna Sundling who took a surprisingly superior gold.

For that, she is now rewarded with a place in the sprint relay.

Maja Dahlqvist, who also went out in the semi, takes second place.

Dahlqvist takes the first leg and Sundling then takes over.

Svensson and Westberg on the men's side

On the men's side, it will be Oskar Svensson and Karl-Johan Westberg who will try to challenge, among others, Johannes Hösflot Kläbo and Erik Valnes who drive for Norway.

Oskar Svensson made it to the finals in the individual sprint but once there he finished last after a tactical miss.

Karl-Johan Westberg has not run a race in the WC yet, but in the World Cup in Ulricehamn he formed a relay team with Johan Häggström and came third before Oskar Svensson and Marcus Grate.

Maiken Caspersen Falla and Tiril Udnes Weng are the Norwegian ladies who run the relay.
